We had a fantastic two weeks at Pantai Puri. The villa is really well maintained and decorated, with excellent amenities. Everything you could possibly need is provided, right down to remote controlled garden lights and anti-mosquito spray. Great pool, quiet location....just a few minutes walk to lovely sandy Palm Cove. The owners couldn't have been more helpfull and oblidging- we wouldn't hesitate to return...a really good find.

"Beautiful Home"

We couldn't believe we had found such a fantastic holiday home. Unfortunately it was already booked for part of our time in the area so we decided to split our stay between Palm Cove and Port Douglas. The property was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The property and everything in it was spotlessly clean. The property is well located in Palm Cove - walking distance to good restaurants and the beach and accessible to the Skyrail, Kuranda and The Atherton Tablelands. We found Port Douglas a bit of a let down in comparison and we spent the remainder of our time in the area wishing we could of stayed our full time at Pantai Puri. We would love to come back.

"The Best Stay".

Our stay in Palm Cove at Pantai Puri could not have been better. The home is immaculate, better than pictured, and in a perfect location to visit Kuranda, Daintree, Port Douglas, Cairns and The Great Barrier Reef. There is no way we could have had a better stay. You can walk to the fabulous restaurants along the waterfront in Palm Cove. You can also book any tours you want to take there. Brad & Jeanette are the wonderful owners and will show you everything you need to know. We have told all our friends along with our travel agent that a visit to Australia would not be complete without a stay at Pantai Puri and that they must budget at least a week for it. Once again, my husband and I can not speak highly enough of our stay there. This is a perfect property for any one who is handicapped as well, no problems with wheelchair access and walk in showers.

"Serenity".
Going to Cairns was one of our smaller holidays as my friends and I have been to Canada, New Zealand, the US as well as the smaller Melbourne and QLD vacations together. However, and I say this with complete honesty, going to Cairns was the most amazing, relaxing and comfortable holiday we have ever been on. This was the only holiday that we didn't want to come home from. And I am 10000% positive the only reason for this was staying at Pantai Puri.
The owner, Brad, was so hospitable and welcoming. He even went out of his way to take us to get our groceries for the week on our first day!
The price was beyond reasonable for the week we stayed; in fact, we double checked the emails a few times to make sure what we were seeing RE pricing was accurate!
The house was absolutely lovely, filled with everything you ever need to feel at home. Air cons and fans in all rooms; beautiful, plush and comfy beds and bedding; the pool; the kitchen; bathrooms; lounge area -- I think we took more pics of the house than the scenery in Cairns!
Two bikes were also at the house for us to use which made for nice trips around the gorgeous area and to the local shops; however even for the laziest of people (us!), the walk from the house to the restaurants, bars and shops of Palm Cove was so close and just as pleasurable and quick as the short bike ride. Just as conveniently, there was a bus stop only a few houses down from ours that took you everywhere up to Cairns City.
At risk of sounding fake from over-enthusiasm about our stay at Pantai Puri, I have to say on behalf of myself and the 4 people who accompanied me on this trip, that the only thing we didn't like was leaving. Since we've been back, we've spoken about our trip at least twice a week amongst each other, and are already discussing when we'll go back.
If Darryl Kerrigan thought Bonnie Doon was a place of serenity - well!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It's exceptionally well-equiped (including DVD, CD and holiday reading collections), very comfortable and has a beautiful pool, garden and outdoor living area. The house is very clean and well maintained and the owners are so friendly and helpful (and close by if you need help). Palm Cove has a beautiful beach and an upmarket village atmosphere. A car isn't essential, but helpful if you want to go to a major supermarket or tour the area on your own. There are lots of things to do within an hour's drive (the reef in paricular), but the house is so comfortable and inviting that it was difficult to motivate ourselves to do anything but sit by the pool! We've already recommended this property to friends, and hope to return ourselves some day.
